Eat and drink your way through London Fashion Week

So this is the first time since leaving university that I haven't been involved in London Fashion Week in any shape or form - I'm not working it, and I'm not watching it. It's seriously gutting (as in, it makes my heart hurt), but I know I'm not alone.

Luckily, London has an abundance of delicious food and drink experiences to make you feel FROW worthy, even if your missing Burberry invite seems to say otherwise...

The Official London Fashion Week Afternoon Tea at The Mayfair Hotel

Is this not the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? When I received these images through I literally gasped - that is how impressed I was. How impressed I am. Not to mention how #goals the flat lay is for every blogger and instagram lover. Obviously as the LFW official afternoon tea it had to be pretty darn amazing, but it really is a feast for the eyes (and the belly). Everything is perfection, from the spotty cup and saucer to the contrasting pops of colour. The Somerset brie and chutney sandwich has my heart, as do the cinnamon infused scones.

£35 per person, more if you wish to have champagne. Served between 2 and 5pm.
To book, email mfkhost@mayfairkitchen.co.uk

The Skinny Stiletto at Dorsett Shepherd's Bush

This isn't just your standard cocktail - it's been designed especially for London Fashion Week, combining everything that's stylish about fashion and drinks into one snazzy martini glass. The Skinny Stiletto is a mix of Sipsmith Summer Cup, cold red berry tea, elderflower cordial, cranberry juice and cherry bitters. Ooof. The Dorset is keen to tempt fashionistas away from crowded central with the lure of the sumptuous Jin Bar, Westfield's designer boutiques and excellent transport links to all the fashion action.

Available to order now (go go go!)

London Fashion Week Gluten-Free Treats at 108 Brasserie

Pretend like you've been wearing some fierce Nicholas Kirkwood heels (or be smug in your flats) and hobble/strut down to the pantry at 108 Brasserie. For £12.50 you get a selection of cakes and a glass of Nyetimber sparkling wine, not to mention the chance to ogle all the beautiful people who frequent this high-end haunt. They're also offering matcha green tea cupcakes this week to celebrate National Cupcake Week, so you're basically obliged to visit and get a 2-in-1 experience.

£12.50 per person for gluten-free sweet treats and Nyetimber wine.

Catwalk Cocktails at TwoRuba

Sorry to break it to you, but these cocktails are probably more sassy than you'll ever be. TwoRuba has concocted a selection of cocktails based on famous fashion designers and they definitely require a front seat at the bar. The Brr-Berry, inspired by - you guessed it - Burberry, is brilliantly British and embraces berries and gin with a dash of lime. Ruba Rouge is a fabulous homage to Christian Louboutin, served in your very own red-soled shoe, whilst Punk Rock is as rebellious as Vivienne Westwood, with tequila, pineapple juice, lime and agave. Aren't you dying to try them?

TwoRuba is located at the Hilton London, Tower Bridge

Fashion Week Survival Tote at Ethos

Healthy institution Ethos understands that fashion week can be particularly tricky for maintaining a healthy, balanced diet, so have launched a survival tote with all the posh nibbles you could ask for. Okay, so if you're not invited - sob - you won't be in dire need, but the tote is so swish it's worth placing an order for one regardless. You'll be treated to superfood-filled energy bites, a spinach and free-range egg pot, broccoli and artichoke salad, tamari-roasted seed and nut mix and a bottle of maple or birch water (because coconut water is so last season, darling).

£16.50 per tote
To order, call Ethos on 0203 581 1538 or email hello@ethosfoods.com

Fashion Faux Pas Cocktails at The Riding House Cafe

Remember that time Kate Moss got kicked off an EasyJet flight for allegedly calling someone a "basic bitch"? Seems like the jokers at The Riding House Cafe have decided to design four tongue-in-cheek cocktails - including the "Basic Bitch" to celebrate fashion faux pas for fashion week. The other cocktails are "Reverse Beyonce" (as Joan Rivers referred to Solange, ouch), "Only Show Her Back" (Karl Lagerfeld on Kate Middleton's sister, Philippa) and "The Nobody" (according to Anna Wintour, anyone that isn't her is a "nobody". So, everyone then?). They are all as deliciously sharp as the quips themselves.

£8 each, available 18th to 22nd September

Matthew Williamson Afternoon Tea at Balthazar

I don't think I could ever tire of afternoon tea. This is Matthew Williamson's second season collaborating with Balthazar to design this jewel-toned, zodiac-inspired afternoon tea, which is available as a gluten-free option too. In terms of cakes, there's a choux pastry filled with a yuzu (citrus) curd, and a macaroon with bluberries, violet jelly and white chocolate Chantilly (pictured). To top it off, Matthew has worked with Balthazar's bar manager Brian Silver to create the Cosmic Cocktail - a mix of Campari, Mandarin Napolean and sugar, topped with champagne. As divine as his designs.

£25 per person or £35 per person with a Cosmic Cocktail/glass of champagne. Served between 3pm and 5pm
Until 5th February 2016 www.balthazarlondon.com

Fashionista Collection at Biscuiteers

The Matthew Williamson dress, the Bella Freud jumper, the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick... it's all so spot on. Biscuiteers are blowing up big time at the moment - anyone who's anyone has had their hands on these hand-iced treats. The Fashionista Collection is a collaboration with style muse Alice Naylor-Leyland and is a total must for anyone who considers themselves a slave to fashion. Plus, it's probably the closest most of us will get to holding a Burberry trench... The collection was created back in June, but is on offer until Friday 19th with promo code "fbcouture" at check out. What are you waiting for?

£39.50 per tin, plus P&P. Enter promo code "fbcouture" at checkout for 15% off - expires 19th September

Macaroons and Martinis at Aubaine

How do you like your martinis? If it's not with a macaroon, you're in the wrong place. For London Fashion Week all Aubaine restaurants will be serving martinis with matching macaroons, available in strawberry. pistachio and Espresso. Yummy! Just think of the colour coordinated Instagram opportunities... and all for under a tenner. Whether you're feeling fruity, are desperately in need of a caffeine kick (because of the after-after parties) or are nuts for... nuts, there's something for everyone.

£8.50 per martinis and matching macaroon

And just like that, suddenly your lack of presence at Brewer Street Car Park doesn't seem so bad!
